DDDOT is born from the smallest element that constitutes every digital image: the pixel.
Its name blends the acronym of “Digital Design Days” (DDD) and the word “Dot.” The combination of these dots/pixels forms a square digital mascot, roughly finished but, for this reason, fun and clumsy, with a clear inspiration from early 8-bit video games, where protagonists were nothing more than a handful of pixels. DDDOT is a “digital alien,” capable of transforming into four variations/personalities, each with its own abilities. It lives in its virtual world, inside a computer. Every time the PC turns on, our protagonist, along with its world, assembles into a vortex of purple and turquoise cubes. But one night, it decides to surpass the glass screen that separates it from the outside world.
Once in our dimension, it discovers a mascot very similar to itself and will use all its abilities to conquer and bring it into its world. DDDOT faces a fun, exciting, and unexpected adventure that tests it, pushing it to surpass its limits and use all its capabilities to achieve its goal—just like a designer who daily engages in their work to achieve satisfaction and results amid effort, enjoyment, and sacrifice. The adventure of DDDOT is the adventure that every creative individual finds themselves facing day after day.
